Chris Peach will be on the judging panel for the 3rd Year BA Interior Architects Students final piece of work at Westminster University London on Monday 11th December.

Their main design project is a project called the ‘Urban Stories Map Room.’ This project started with an intensive three-week ‘Light Narratives’ workshop, the first step of which was a study of narrative through an exploration of how to generate stories using collage and cut-up methods.

The workshop then quickly moved on to the study of artificial and natural light, with lectures from lighting (Chris Peach fdcreative) and environmental design specialists, and then to film techniques as a way to visualise their design over time.

This has been followed up by visiting Florence to see the actual building, the Baluardo della Ginevra, a fortification (the initial design of which is attributed to Michelangelo) attached to a historic city wall that sits atop a summit to the south of the city centre.
